This program is designed for modern life — long hours of sitting, screen use, and mental tension that gradually build up in the shoulders, neck, and back.

Through gentle, seated Qigong practice, you will release accumulated tension, restore mobility, and bring your body back into balance — without force or strain.

All movements can be done at home or in the office, with no equipment required. Focus on posture, breath, and body awareness, and allow your body to relax naturally.

The Shaolin Tradition

The Masters’ philosophy on health sees Qi as the driver of our biological cycles. We learned in high school biology that the body renews and regenerates each month cyclically. In the Shaolin tradition, Qi travels and nourishes our body throughout this cycle. As life inevitably takes its toll, our meridians experience blockages. In this video series, we will show you how to read these indicators and understand how they relate to your overall well-being. 

More importantly, this series extracts the essence of the Shaolin discipline so that we can heal ourselves and help relieve the damage office work can cause.  By combining the physical craft of Wu Shu (Martial Arts) with the mental practice of Zen Buddhist Meditation, Qigong, translated by each Chinese character, is ”Energy Practice”. Through this 1500-year-old series, we hope to show you how to recharge and modulate your Qi, observe your energy levels, and eventually, improve your overall health.

We are under constant stress and duress in our daily lives. When we sit and work in the same positions for extended periods of time, we suffer from the usual office gripes: neck, shoulder, and back pain. What we see as bad circulation, the Shaolin Tradition sees as a stagnation in energy flow to these parts of the body.

These lessons were only available in private sessions with Grand Master Shi Yan Xu until now. For the first time, his program for relieving the stress and pain of “tech” neck and office aches combines breathing, meditation, and Qigong to help you channel healing energy to these areas, which will not only relieve pain, but will also improve circulation.
